Accessibility

Accessibility and assistance for passengers with reduced mobility

Help from the moment you arrive until you are seated on board, free of charge. Request it 48 hours before departure; if you could not, we will still do our best.

How it works

Assistance in three steps

  1. Request assistance at least 48 hours ahead

The simplest way is through your airline when booking or in "Manage my booking"; the airline passes the request to us. You can also use the form on this page or call +48 22 315 18 80. Under EU Regulation 1107/2006 the service is free.

  2. Come to a help point

Help points with an intercom and induction loop are at the terminal entrance, the shuttle bus and coach stop, the taxi rank and car park P1. Press the button and tell us you have arrived; an assistant will come within 10 minutes at the agreed time. Arrive 2 hours before departure at the latest.

  3. Your assistant stays with you

Through check-in, security (separate lane, free), to the gate and onto the aircraft, including an ambulift if there is no air bridge. On arrival we meet you at the aircraft door and take you to the exit, your car or public transport.

Did not request in advance? Come to a help point or the information desk anyway. We will assist you as soon as an assistant is free; it may take up to an hour on busy days.

Hearing or speech impairment? Write to us through the contact form or use the sign language video interpreter at the information desk.

Your own wheelchair

Travelling with your wheelchair or mobility aid

You can use your own wheelchair up to the aircraft door. Please tell us its type, weight and battery (lithium-ion or dry cell) in the request so the airline can accept it. Powered wheelchairs are stored in the hold; we return them at the aircraft door on arrival wherever possible.

In the terminal

What you will find

The terminal is on one level, step-free from the car park to the gates.

Hidden Disabilities SunflowerWe take part in the Sunflower programme. Pick up a free lanyard at the information desk; staff recognise it and offer extra time and patience without you having to explain.

Accessible toiletsIn every toilet block before and after security, with emergency pull cords. An adult changing bench is in the toilet opposite the information desk.
Assistance dogsWelcome everywhere in the terminal and on board (airline rules apply). A dog relief area is outside the terminal to the left of the entrance.
Induction loopsAt the information desk, all check-in desks, security and gate desks, and at help points. Look for the ear symbol.
Help pointsIntercom columns at the entrance, bus and coach stop, taxi rank and car park P1; the button is at 90 cm, with Braille and raised text.
Accessible parkingWide bays with a step-free route to the terminal by the entrance of car park P1. Display your parking card. Parking details.

Polish Sign Language interpreter and English

A Polish Sign Language (PJM) video interpreter is available online at the information desk and at the PRM help points, 24/7, free of charge. Ask staff to connect the tablet. English is spoken at the information desk and by assistance staff; written communication in English is also fine.

International Sign or other national sign languages: please tell us in the request and we will try to arrange a remote interpreter.

Accessibility statement

Accessibility of this website (summary)

Mazowiecki Port Lotniczy Warszawa-Modlin Sp. z o.o. is committed to making this website accessible in line with the Polish Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public bodies, which implements EU Directive 2016/2102. The target standard is WCAG 2.1 level AA.

This website is partially compliant. Known issues: some PDF documents published before 2026 are not tagged, and a few older news photos lack descriptive alternative text. We are replacing them with HTML versions and adding descriptions. Key information (prices, procedures, timetables) is available as HTML.

On this site you can switch to high contrast and enlarge the text using the bar at the top of every page. All functions work with a keyboard and screen readers; the flight board announces updates politely.

If you find a problem, or you need information in another format (large print, easy-to-read, audio), write to us through the contact form or call +48 22 315 18 80. We respond within 7 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the company's management and then to the Polish Ombudsman (Rzecznik Praw Obywatelskich).

This is a summary. The legally binding, full accessibility statement, including the date of the last review and architectural accessibility of the terminal, is published in Polish: deklaracja dostępności (in Polish).
